Kevin and Megan are from San Mateo, and they found my photos on Google and contacted me. After a short phone conversation, we decided to meet in person in Santa Clara, the city where I reside. After talking more about their wedding, they decided that I would be their photographer for their wedding -- really an honor, and a privilege, especially for them not knowing anyone else before from their circle. They got married at Wente Vineyards, a winery in Livermore that I hadn't shot before. I've shot at previous wineries like Casa Real a few times, as well as the Palm Events Center. I also showed them one of my other weddings that I did where I had video, and they added that on as well. One special request that Megan and Kevin had was to take a group picture at the flag, to commemorate her late brother-in-law who served in the military, but passed away.
Funny story: before their wedding, I had worked with another client a few months before, and had stopped by a cafe in San Mateo. Then Megan interrupts us and says "Hi! You're doing my wedding soon!" It's really a small world.
